Age Management Medicine is based on new research that shows that nutrition, fitness and hormone optimization will help people live a more dynamic lifestyle. Age Management Medicine incorporates well-known and accepted markers of disease and injury risk into proactive patient management. Our Medical Director, Dr. Juan Gargiulo, along with our exercise physiologist and health coaches, is responsible for the extensive testing and development of individual program for every client at AgeFocus to help keep their bodies in peak condition. The synergy created by our programs includes hormone modulation, nutrition with appropriate supplementation and structured physical activity through our partnerships with personal training facilities.
Our Medically Supervised Weight Management Programs address the need we all have to stay in our optimal weight to prevent disease. In America more than 60% of adults are overweight. Obesity is associated with hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, back pain and osteoarthritis, to name a few. Testing, education, support, diet and exercise are the key components of our programs. Losing 20, 30 or more pounds in 40 days is just the beginning to a change in lifestyle.
We offer a large selection of minimally invasive Cosmetic Treatments. We have selected treatments equally effective for men and women that have none, or minimal downtime, they are performed under local anesthesia, and have impressive results. Discomfort is also minimal. The results yield a natural, more refreshed look.
Our Medical Spa offers the pampering and relaxation needed with an active lifestyle. The massages will relax your body and mind. The facials will pamper your face and skin, turning back the clock on much of the damage the environment and stress cause daily in a person’s life.
For our clients that want to go the “extra mile” in their physical activities, we offer a large selection of Exercise Testing to determine how fit they are, but, more importantly, to see the changes that occur to their bodies after several months of training. Exercise recommendations are made after the testing to make sure the appropriate exercises are incorporated into the training program.
We will be with you every step of the way to walk you through your needs, the scope of your goals, and your budget.
